Even before Anne-Marie became ill she told her family what sort of celebration she would want for when she passed. There was not to be a traditional funeral or memorial service. There was to be laughter, music and wine. So that’s what we have planned.
The afternoon will be “come and go” format throughout the afternoon with a short program at 3:00pm. Wine, and other beverages, and little nibbles will be served.
Any guests of Anne-Marie’s Celebration can tour the Museum grounds. Please let the Admission Desk know that you are a guest of the event and enjoy the Museum.
We also wanted everyone to know that if we are still sharing stories about amm at the end of the afternoon, we will continue the celebration after 5:00pm with a much less formal setting.
The celebration will also be posted in the newspapers later this month. Please pass along this information to those who don’t have access to Internet.

Rooms have been booked at the Gold Eagle Lodge for a discounted room rate of $99 per night, plus applicable taxes. If you are interested in booking a hotel room, please do so by July 11th, 2009, which is the cut off date and the date we are held financially responsible for the rooms.
